a grammatical construction in which a word takes the gender or number not of the word with which it should regularly agree, but of some other word implied in that word. It is effectively an agreement of words according to the sense, and not the morphosyntactic form.

규칙적인 일치에 어긋나는 성이나 수를 취하는 단어을 가진 문법적인 구문이긴 하지만, 한 단어에서 다른 단어를 함축한다. 의미를 따르는 단어의 일치에 효과적이고, 형태동사적 형식이 아니다.
