Interestingly, 12:2–13:6 follows 11:4-16, which, as noted in the commentary on that section, is heavily influenced by Ezekiel 34 and 37. Thus, the battle/spirit unit in Ezekiel 36–37 follows after the shepherd unit in Ezekiel 34, and the battle/spirit unit in Ezekiel 38–39 follows after the shepherd unit in Ezekiel 37.- Mark J.
